Hawk graduated last year from Harvard University where she attained her Master’s in Environmental Science and Environmental Public Health. Her research encompasses clean air and water quality with the goal of preserving natural resources and protecting people today and future generations. She was nationally recognized by the Society of Risk Assessments and Harvard University for her research in the Northwest Region of the U.S. looking at health disparities and the environmental risks that disproportionately threaten certain populations. She is currently working with Harvard Medical School on a grant that focuses on Global Health and Human Rights pertaining to food security and water quality in Africa. She has currently moved to D.C. and would like to learn more about and be involved in policy and legislation. On her off time she spends as much time as she can taking her dog on long hikes or sailing. She is a huge Star Wars, Lord of Rings and Marvel Comics fan.
