Steve's passion for drones arose out of his desire to gain interesting vantage points for his photography and film pursuits. Passion soon became obsession leading him to develop and instruct curriculum based on drones, robotics, and mechatronics for Bergen County (NJ) Technical Schools - Applied Technology High School, using autonomous systems on Land, Air, and Sea (LASR.)

Steve leads The Drone User Group Network, a national community based organization with over 25,000 members. The DUG's mission is to promote the positive use of civil drone technologies in commerce and recreation.
